A Heart Created for His Glory

Humans are unique creatures who are fearfully and wonderfully sculpted by the hands of an awesome, loving God. We have all been made in His image for the purpose of reflecting His image. With a corrupt nature however, we cannot reflect Him as we should. We display a false image of God. Instead of exalting Him, we degrade and dishonor His holy name. 

A mighty work of God must take place before we can begin to bring Him the praise that is fit for his glory once again. It is only by the saving blood of Christ that any person can truly understand his purpose on this planet. It is only through Jesus Christ that any one of us can be granted a new heart that is able to beat to the rhythm of God's glory. And only when this new heart is created within us can we experience true joy and peace in our lives. 

God's powerful work of creating a new heart is one of the most incredible things that Christians can experience and witness in this life, for with this same power, God created the heavens and the earth. After creating a new heart, His work does not stop there. He continues to sustain and guide us, filling us with new desires to live every moment of our lives for His glory. 

As we continue to live out our lives with Him, each moment fills us with a desire to know His will and to live accordingly. Not only that, but we also notice a continuous alignment of our desires with the desires of our Father. Having received a new heart that is constantly being upheld and sustained by a sovereign King, we now have everything we need to enjoy this life completely. Every moment in each day of our life now carries significance, every breath we now take has a purpose and every passing day shows us that we are one step closer to our heavenly home!
